Jim D. Regarding Dr. Olson
Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 04:46PM Some twenty years ago I came to you with a badly crushed index finger on my left hand. I had been helping set up a piece of farm equipment on an investment farm I owned in Helenville. The first doctors examining the finger were talking about amputation but I insisted I wanted to get into Milwaukee to see a specialist and someone recommended you. You inserted a pin in through the end of the finger and did a bunch of magic with the remaining bones and today I still play my sax and clarinet in three or four bands as well as playing volleyball all over the country. I think of you often and one time I dropped off a pie at your office-I believe I came to your office in Mayfair and you may have had me get over to St. Joe's for the surgery.
I wanted to thank you again and give you a CD one of our bands made-I am the soloist on track four and am seated in the front row, second from the left. I turn 67 next month and still play softball two days a week, volleyball three days a week and I am still working as a financial planner here in Brookfield. Thanks again for your skills!
Sincerely,
Jim D
